Four reasons to pre-book your newborn photographer

If you are considering booking a newborn photoshoot but haven't yet got round to it, here are four reasons to pre-book your photographer.

1. AVOID THE STRESS!

Unless you are mega prepared, the last few weeks before your new bundle arrives can be stressful enough so there is nothing worse than scrambling around trying to find a photographer that has availability. It’s the last thing you’ll feel up to doing once your new sweetpea arrives.

2. FINDING THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER

Rushing and not pre-booking will usually leave you with someone you HAVE to choose, instead of someone you genuinely WANT too work with to capture your little ones precious newborn days in a way that feels natural to you.

3. GET THE TIMING RIGHT

Most photographers will advise you to get your newborn photos taken between 5-10 days after birth. Depending on how your little one arrives into the world, by that point you are likely to feel a little more “human” and recovered and may even be in little bit of a rhythm with your new bundle. These early days are a beautiful love hormone fuelled time for new parents and with your little one being all sleepy and squishy it makes for much easier posing.

4. PERSONALISED STYLING

It is great is to allow enough time for styling. Everyone wants to feel their best self on a photoshoot and I want nothing more than for you to feel comfortable and having an outfit that makes you feel great is always a must. Also, taking your time on planning your new little ones outfits and thinking about keepsakes you want in the photos (their future favourite teddy, a woolly beanie etc) will leave you with special tangible memories to cherish.

As a mom to two little ones, I totally get the delicate and precious nature of those early days. If you are looking for a down to earth and natural newborn photographer or even some just advice on newborn photography pop me a message or leave an enquiry message.
